About
Eric McChesney is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh, where he studies the effects of psychosocial belonging interventions on marginalized STEM students as part of the UBelong Collaborative. This multi-institutional, interdisciplinary project aims to develop, rigorously test, and scale affordable class-based interventions that reliably generalize across a wide variety of student and institutional contexts and that enhance students' sense of belonging, growth mindset, engagement, course grades, and persistence in both college, and in their chosen major.
